Original Artwork | Messy Art Book
A moment by the water
This piece is part of my Ways We Wandered series, where I explore places through observation and memory.
Mumbai, Across the Harbour is inspired by the working boats you see along the coast. There is something very grounding about them. Functional, weathered, and always in motion, yet still when anchored.
I was drawn to the structure of the boat and the way lines, ropes, and textures come together. The ink medium allows those details to stay raw and direct, almost like a page from a travel sketchbook.

A small note from me
This series comes from wandering without a fixed plan. Sometimes you stop because something catches your eye, and that becomes the whole story.
